
Javier Lorente is an Agronomist Engineer specialising in animal production with an MSc degree in Swine Health and Production since 2006.
With more than 22 years of experience in Swine production, specialising in all of its production stages, he has worked as an operator, farm manager and technician on farms and AI studs. Javier has got experience working in genetics companies and pig production companies holding high-responsibility positions.
Since 2008, he has focused his work on productive improvement in farms, better processes and management within them. Javier has also been working with high productivity systems between Denmark and Spain, with an emphasis on animal welfare, working on farms with group gestations sows, designing, calculating, and adapting farms with gestations in cages, to farms with group gestation.
Javier is currently the Technical Manager in 333 and also the Technical Director in Pig Academy, developing training programs for swine companies worldwide. Aswell as this, he also works as global Technical Advisor in Pig Production supporting farms and collaborating with universities, companies, and associations at a teaching and informative level, giving a variety of talks nationally and internationally and writing numerous technical articles.
